Company and contact lookup is the process of connecting the accounts and contacts in your CRM to our database. We do this look up when you connect your CRM to your Bizzy environment for the first time, when you push a new company, every midnight and when you change any of the lookup fields in your mapping.

Accounts

The primary lookup fields we prefer are VAT number and Company number. We recommend that you at least set one of both fields, given they are unique for each company and allow us to provide a perfect 1-to-1 mapping.

If both are not set, we perform a combined lookup based on company name, address and website. We combine all three fields (if set in mapping) and pick the company with the highest match to our database.

Contacts

The lookup fields for contacts is based on first name and last name, linked to an account. This means we will only match a contact in your CRM to a person in Bizzy if the contact is having the same name, and is related to an account we have a known relationship for.
